Michelle Anderson, 46, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 3. Mabel Benevides Damasco, 94, of Pepeekeo died Dec. 6 in Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was a retired housekeeper for the former Naniloa Hotel in Hilo and was a member of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union, Big Island Portuguese Culture Club, Pepeekeo Community Association, Kaupakuea Homestead Community Association and Immacualate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Toshie Izuno, 98, of Kealakekua died Dec. 11 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Kealakekua, she was a retired self-employed coffee and flower farmer and a member of Akitsu Gumi, Kumamoto Kenjinkai, and Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. Private services at a later date.
